I have been working on putting together a new online store. For technical reasons the old store had to be taken off line and as I am in the process of putting everything on new servers it didn't make a lot of sense to fix the old site just to have to take it down a few days later. The quest for appropriate software has been a bit painful and there have been a few false starts so the new store is taking longer than I had hoped. While I am a long way from being completely done I will be going live on Thursday, April 2nd.
The new store will be a much simplified version of the old GWTW. It will better serve our business as it exists today. At the outset it will allow for PayPal purchases and US shipping only, but that will eventually be expanded. If you are looking for an upgraded super-duper new store, you are going to be disappointed. It is pared down considerably. As time goes by I will be adding new items and features, but given the current state of the kiting business it will certainly be a new shopping experience. With most of the high end kite makers going direct we will be offering beginner and intermeniate kites. There will be still parts available but a much more reduced selection.
